Congratulations to Gwyn Hanssen Piggott whose work has been acquired by Hamiltion Regional Gallery.

Gwyn is coming to the end of her residency in Shigaraki, Japan. Shigaraki has been operating as a commercial pottery centre since the 13th century and has one of the oldest working kilns in Japan. Ceramics from this region are characterised by the local sandy, orange coloured clay and are renowned for their durability. (Image above: view from Gwyn Hanssen Pigott’s studio in Shigaraki)

Guy Warren - Artist Profile
In May 2011, Guy Warren and twelve other renowned Australian artists were invited to a 14 day arts laboratory at Fowlers Gap past Broken Hill. The work created on this trip is showcased in the current issue of Artist Profile and will be on exhibited at SH Ervin in May 2012.
